Serving the Southeast Polk Community

In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Audit Committee Review financial records and follow up with Treasurer that tax returns are filed timely and accurately.
Board of Directors
Community Service Coordinates and organizes service opportunities with community like-minded organizations. Examples are bi-monthly blood drives with the Blood Center of Iowa, food donations to Caring Hands, etc.
Finance & Fundraising Assists in creating the club budget, coordinates club fundraising opportunities and communicates club events and services programs with the community.
Membership Committee The Membership Committee plans Guest Days, Social Events, Quarterly Luncheons, Interclub Visits and encourages members to attend Spring Dinners and Fall Anniversary/Installation Banquets. Passes along ideas to make meetings fun!
Nominating Committee Committe searches for the club leadership members to serve on the Board of Directors.
Young Child, Priority One This committee focuses on the needs of children age 0-5 yrs, realizing the impact we can have on society by focusing on children. This committee is also a liaison between our club and the Key Club & Builders' Club.
